Well, I DID say “the more the merrier,” didn’t I?

When it rains, it pours. And at our house, it’s raining babies!

My dad is a twin. Primrose has been absolutely certain this whole pregnancy that we are having twins, so she is positively gloating. ;)

I am excited and stunned and thrilled and terrified. :P

Congratulations! My 3rd and 4th are twins (they are 2 1/2 now). It is a wild ride! If you haven’t heard of it, Barbara Luke’s book about pregnancy with multiples is a great resource.

Congratulations! Our third and fourth are twin boys aged 4 but our oldest was only 3 1/2 when they were born. I’m sure you’ll have many eager hands wanting to help out. Twins are exciting, crazy, scary, and awesome! Prayers coming your way. :)

Wonderful!:-) :-) You will be really, really tired, but there are perks. Twins are each other’s best friends, and it’s really amazing to watch them grow up. And you will be able to take some really cool pictures! Congratulations!!! :-)

Just think how early you’ll be able to take your fabulous belly photographs! With your new tripod! On manual mode!
    Wonderful news. I’ll be praying.

Sarah!!! Oh my goodness! I can’t believe it! Do you know that we have twins? I see a couple other people here have twins too. If you ever want to talk, let me know. But we had twins first, so our situations are probably different. Prayers for you all! And a HUGE congratulations!!

God Bless! That is exciting news! If you happen to wonder from time to time, “How am I going to do it all,” rest assured. First of all remember that no one “does it all” and secondly take heart in the fact that, with God’s grace, you will do all that needs to be done! God sure answers prayers in abundance, doesn’t He? You are going to continue to be a GREAT mom! Nothing can change that fact! I know you are thrilled to have more opportunities to share your love! How blessed you all are!

That. Is. Awesome. :) twins run in my family too, and I always have big babies….so when I start carrying big we always go, “Maybe it’s twins this time! (nervous chuckle)” I think it would be so, so fun,,,and a little intimidating. I so look forward to living it vicariously through you though. You will do amazingly well , I’m sure!

Congrats!! I am so happy for you! My twins are six already and i have cherished the gift they bring t our family. They are so so much work in the begining, but can teach you so many wonderful lessons in living in the moment, allowing others to help you, and trusting in god. I wish you all the best!!

  31. says

Oh, Sarah! I am so happy and a little terrified for you as well! ;-) You’ve been on my mind and in my prayers for days since I read this exciting news and I was just waiting for a minute to jump down on the big computer to type out a response. I am so glad that Posie will have playmates close in age. How wonderful is that?! God is so good! When I shared your happy news with my 10yo she exclaimed with a big smile on her face, “Oh, that’s so exciting! Oh, they are going to be so close – they are going to be the best of buddies!”

I always thought I would love to have twins, so now I’ll get to live vicariously through you. :-) Just think of all the photographic opportunities waiting for you! ;-) I have been praying for you for extra strength and grace. You are going to rock this Mom of Many title! :-)
